We’re about more progress.

We’re about giving you your time back. Taking on only the work that genuinely matters, and honest about what actually helps, so you can spend more time on what you do best.

The story

What I kept seeing.

In every busy business I’ve been near, the same thing happens: the best person on the team ends up buried in admin. Your sharpest people hold loose, manual workflows together by hand, re-keying data, chasing updates, ticking the same boxes. The business can’t grow past them, and they can’t get to the work only they can do.

Then AI arrives, gets bolted onto the mess, and makes the busywork faster instead of making it go away.

What unbusy really means.

Less busy isn’t the goal, it’s the room the goal needs. Unbusying just takes the toil away, and what you do with the room is the point: more business without three new admin hires, more of the work you actually love, or simply a life with space that work doesn’t fill.

I care about all three. Whichever you’re after, my job is the same, hand back the time and attention, and help you aim it somewhere that matters.

Who you’ll actually work with

I’m Calvin, and I’ll be the one you talk with.

I’ve spent a decade in big software teams building developer tools and AI products, the kind of behind-the-scenes work that’s invisible when it works and very visible when it doesn’t. Most of it came down to one question: how do you take the toil out of skilled people’s days? The Unbusy Co is me bringing that to teams who don’t have an in-house version of me.

A collaborator, not a vendor.

I won’t sell you AI and disappear. I work alongside you, owner to owner: we find the drag together, I build one workflow at a time, and we measure it before and after, so it’s evidence, not vibes. I stay until your team can run it without me. Small by design, you work with the person doing the work, not a layer of account managers.

And off the clock, I keep my own life unbusy enough to get outdoors and properly off-grid. I think that’s rather the point of it all.

Let’s find one workflow worth unbusying.

A 20-minute discovery call, no obligation. Tell me what’s slowing your team down and what you’d want back, and I’ll give you an honest read on whether, and how, I can help.
